Visit Kent has produced a new 2012 Tourism Toolkit to help businesses prepare for next year’s Olympic Games. It offers practical advice on how to keep informed during the run-up to the Games and how to maximise media coverage, while highlighting all the events taking place in the county.
Amanda Cottrell, chairman of Visit Kent, says in her introduction: “The London 2012 Games offers us an unprecedented opportunity to showcase our county and build our reputation with our guests as a top destination. Visit Kent is committed to working together with businesses, organisations and people across Kent to provide the tools and training which will help us all grasp this opportunity and lay the foundation for a thriving tourism industry for decades to come.”
Doubtless there will be plenty more talk of London 2012 and its impact on Kent over the coming months...
